Sue’s previous experience includes serving as UNICEF Regional WASH Advisor, West and Central Africa, through which she got extensive country experience across Africa and Asia. Sue has held positions in the private and public sectors, as well as worked in academia in the UK. She speaks and writes extensively on matters that link health, the environment, and the economy. She believes that talking openly about open defecation is the only way that basic health issues can be tackled head-on, and effectively.
