Thampy has over 25 years of experience in conceptualization, design, development, and implementation of large-scale IT transformation projects. He has headed some of the most prestigious e-Governance projects in India and leads an advisory team to India’s Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to implement IT initiatives to improve provision of healthcare services to tuberculosis patients. He has also led a World Bank-funded project to develop an implementation roadmap for Meghalaya and Nagaland.
