Mishra is an environmental lawyer, and one of the first to draw the association between green practices and health. He has filed numerous environmental PILs before the Supreme Court of India, one of which led to the Delhi Government introducing the odd-even numbering system for private transportation. He writes for several publications, has been invited as a guest lecturer, and is on several prestigious award juries.
