
India is facing an acute shortage of drinking water in both urban and rural centers. The availability of water fit for sanitary purposes is low as well. Unsafe drinking water and lack of hygiene practices contribute to around 21% of communicable diseases in India. We need to build physical, mental, and national capital through better practices to fight water crisis and find solutions for the existing ineffective waste disposal systems.
